I don’t know about you, but it always seems easier for me to find joy in the Spring!
For me, Spring means longer days with more light (even on those overcast days), more fresh air as the temperatures get warmer, and lots and lots of new growth, including all the veggie and flower seedlings my hubby grows. It can be easier to feel both gratitude and joy when surrounded by God’s creations.
Feeling that fresh air on our skin and drawing it deep in our lungs can bring joy in that we are here and breathing. Light helps dispel dark thoughts and usher in more positivity, which can make joy rise to the surface. Fresh froth is a reminder that we all have seasons of growth and that change isn’t inherently bad. Sometimes it means something beautiful is on its way!
If you are struggling to find your own joy, try spending some time outdoors, especially in nature if at all possible. Drink in the beauty that surrounds you, and let yourself open to the joy within you!
