One of the things that always brings me joy is reading! It’s something I make time for every day, even if it’s only for ten minutes. Lately I’ve really been enjoying The Vampire Knitting Club series by Nancy Warren.
The series follows a young woman who comes to Oxford after a breakup, to visit her grandmother. She learns some eye opening things about her Gran, herself, and the neighbors - while managing to solve some murders Miss Marple style along the way. The books are light and humorous, with no strong language or violence, but chock full of mystery, strong characters, fun, and knitting - and don’t forget, civilized vampires!
I’ve also been enjoying diving into Gillian McAllistar’s works! So far, I’ve read Wrong Place, Wrong Time, and Just Another Missing Person. Both are full of mystery and twisty turns that will have you guessing until the very end!
I’m an eclectic reader with strong leanings towards mysteries, but will pretty much read any genre out there. Next on my list is The Book of Lost Names by Kristin Harmel. Have you read it??
